Our company history
1989
THE BEGINNING
TPM was founded in 1989 in Hamburg, Germany. Three owners and two employees.
1990-1997
TPM Cairo
Opening of sales office.
1994
TPM Hamburg
Move to Hamburg and first warehouse 300 m2/ 4 employees.
2003
MILESTONE
In 2003 we registered our brand ROCKBERG Germany.
2003
TPM Hamburg
Expansion of the warehouse to 750 m2.
2004
TPM Middle East
Establishment of TPM Middle East in Dubai with 2000 m2 warehouse and 8 employees.
2007
TPM Hamburg
Relocation in Hamburg and further expansion of the warehouse to 1,200 m2 and 10 employees.
2014
SUCCESS STORY
In summer 2014 we celebrated our 25th anniversary
2014
Large fire
Major fire in the Hamburg warehouse. All stock was destroyed. Luckily no one was harmed.
2015
TPM Rellingen
Move to Rellingen. Warehouse 1,500 m2 with 15 employees.
2021
TPM leadership change
The shareholders Mr. Thomas Khodl and Mr. Paul-Herrmann Reschke are retiring. The owners of TPM are now Mr. Mohdin Abou Koura, long-standing senior sales manager at TPM, and Maik Haessner, founding member.
TPM welcomes Ms. Anja Hagen – Commercial Management, Controlling, IT, Human Resources.
2023
TPM Alphaplan
Introduction of a new merchandise management system ALPHAPLAN and internal financial accounting.
